Happy Diwali to you all.

So far third term at MUWCI has been crazy. So much work, but also so many good things that have happened. Here is a collection of pictures that highlight the things i have been doing

As i said in my previous post, i have been helping to lead hikes in our valley as part of the Outdoor Education stream at my college. These next few pictures are of us second year leaders on the hike to Mt.Wilko, that is next to our college.

We had a four days off from school so Shreya (my Indian roomate) and I took a break from our jungle college and stayed in a Hotel in Pune for two nights.

Eid Mubarak

We celebrate Eid Mubarak at college. There was so much good food and dancing.

My friend Yarden (Isreal) and I made my first ever Shakshuka.

Fashion Show.

Every year our school hosts a Fasion Show for Community Fund. Community Fund raises money for our staff and friends who need money ergently.

Luis (Portugal), Phunso (Bhutan) and I took part in the Fashion Show.
This was our first walk. I was Princess Peach and they Mario and Luigi. They fought with eachother to see who would save me, all to the games soundtrack.
Luickly we raised enough money to go through to the second round.

In our second round, we dressed as beaut Indian girls and dances to Shiela Ki Jawani https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTmF2v59CtI.
We didn't raise enough money to win, but we came second and received a small, but delicious prize of brownies made by a firsty Frances (Puru).

Diwali

This year we celebrated the Indian festival of lights and prosperity, Diwali, on campus. We lit dyias, dressed up and ate good food. It was also Indian regional Evening, so there dancing and singing performances.

It is project week soon. I will be staying on campus to get work done and doing a Life Guarding training course.

Then my parents are coming to visit. I can't wait for them to come with lot's of home treats.
