This is a touching life story, one that inspires us to be inclusive. Her story can be seen here on this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5zwURqwiBc well worth the watch if interested in gender rights in developing, stigmatised socities.

Seema
For the update Seema is a grassroots social enterprise in Maharashtra ,
India which was started by a second year here called Alisha. Seema empowers women and children from local
villages through jewelry making, personal development, and community
collaboration. Featuring jewelry of meticulous paper work and high
quality supplies, the collection will be sold to an international market with
all of the profits devoted to the artisans and their families.
I have recently taken over the post of production manager. Which entails quality checks and the general organisation of providing transport for the women to come onto campus to make the jewelry at our Akshara base. My aim is to get production centers set up in the local villages so we can work towards self regulating production and women.
We are currently only selling in India but are looking to branch out very soon so keep your eyes pealed.
Visit the website here on seemacircle.com
We have a Thursday evening-Sunday evening holiday as it is Indian National Committee selections weekend. As I am in Fire Service I have to stay on campus as it is fire season now and there are many fires. As i am staying, I decided to help out at INC. I am a evening usher so play games and chill with them after there stressful interviews.
I have lots of work and deadlines coming up and so am trying to fit everything in.
Will try and update soon.
Such fun,
Sarah :D.
